Pilgrimages
Apostles of the Interior Life
Journey with us to encounter the living faith of the Church through sacred pilgrimages to holy sites and the lives of the saints.
Walk in the Footsteps of Saints
A pilgrimage is more than sightseeing—it’s a transformative journey of faith. As Pope Francis reminds us:
“A tourist travels distances to be greatly informed; a pilgrim is called to journey forth and be transformed!”
— Pope Francis
Through our pilgrimages, we invite young adults to encounter Christ in the places where saints lived, prayed, and witnessed to the Gospel. From the eternal city of Rome to the peaceful hills of Assisi, these journeys offer a profound way to deepen your interior life while experiencing the universal Church across centuries and continents.
A pilgrimage becomes a physical expression of our spiritual journey—each step forward mirrors our inner movement toward God. Walking where saints once walked, praying where they prayed, we discover that the path to holiness is both ancient and new, both communal and deeply personal.
Our Pilgrimage Experience
Our pilgrimages are designed to help you grow in your interior life through encounter with the living tradition of the Church. Each journey typically includes:
- Sacred sites where you can pray at the tombs of great saints and encounter the communion of saints in a tangible way
- Daily prayer and Mass to deepen your relationship with Christ through the sacraments and guided reflection
- Cultural immersion with Italian host families, experiencing the faith lived authentically in daily life
- Spiritual formation through teaching on prayer, the interior life, and the witnesses of the saints
- Community with other young adults seeking to grow in faith and discern God’s call in their lives
These pilgrimages aren’t just about visiting beautiful churches—they’re about opening your heart to transformation. As you walk through the Holy Doors, stand before ancient relics, and pray in places sanctified by centuries of devotion, you’ll discover that the Church is truly universal, spanning time and space, uniting us with believers from every age.

Testimonials from Past Pilgrims
The pilgrimage was a good turning point in my life—it taught me to truly put God first and love Him with all my heart, mind, and soul. I loved exploring the sacred sites, praying, learning about the saints, and connecting with other pilgrims who shared the same journey. The beautiful basilicas were awe-inspiring, but the highlight of my experience was the warmth and generosity of my host family. It was an unforgettable experience that deepened my faith and left a lasting impression on my heart.

I don’t think I can fully put into words everything I lived and received during this pilgrimage. I may never grasp the depth of the graces poured out, but my heart reminds me that they were real, overflowing in ways I’m still discovering. Walking through the roots of our Roman Catholic Church, witnessing its history come alive, and encountering the sacred in relics, tabernacles, and even strangers on the street left me in awe. It was powerful to see how God provided in every moment, through every Mass, every church we entered, every moment of exhaustion or joy, and every conversation along the way. I returned transformed, with a heart full of life, knowing I encountered God in a new and deeply personal way. I would wholeheartedly recommend this pilgrimage to anyone seeking to grow in their faith and learn more about our church and some great saints. The Apostles of the Interior Life led us with such joy, reverence, and deep love for the Lord, it was a gift to be guided by them throughout the journey.
